Tested with a LI-Ion batterypack, one of those small emergency car starter packs and it barely made a dent in the included strips. So I went for a cheap 60 Ah lead acid starter battery, and now I can blow holes in the strips on high-power mode. Low power mode welds the strips just fine. I have read that a lot of customers have problems with this type of device not welding, or barely doing anything. You NEED a powersource able to give off a vast amount of peak-amperes. Power supplies and anything with a protective circuit will not work. There is no LED included, but one can be fitted to the board easily. Also an optional external switch for an enclosure is a nice feature.

Very pleased with this. I am using it with a 4 cell 5Ahr lipo. After reading some reviews about it needing to be on setting 4, thats what I tried it on. My GOD. A massive spark and a hole blown in the 0.1mm tape. Scared the crap out of me!! Setting 1 is ample.

доставка до мос обл. 20 дней, сваривает на 3 с +, работать можно. От аккумулятора 18 Ач, работала отвратительно, переделал под повербанк, в разы лучьше стало. Что бы приварить, нужно в одну точку не менее 4-х раз электрод приложить, на 5-й настройке. Электроды греются, транзисторы нет.

Посылка пришла на мое отделение Новой почты за 13 дней. По Украине полностью отслеживалась. Сварка варит хорошо, но нужен хороший аккумулятор с возможностью отдачи большого тока. Я использую автомобильный на 60 Аh, с пусковым током в 600 А. Никелевую ленту толщиной 0,15 мм приваривает отлично, более тонкую прожигает. Нужно дальше подбирать режимы. пока что всем доволен, рекомендую однозначно.

Has 5 tack weld settings that can be useful in welding without inducing too much heat. Came in a nice kit that had all the parts. Required some assembly, soldering iron, tin to beef up those channels and prevent overheating, shrink wrap for the weld tips. Could be better but its fine for that arduino battery project you've been working on.
